Liberal arts and sciences
You can begin any of a number of majors at a two-year college by enrolling in the "liberal arts and sciences" program. This is the program taken by most students who plan to transfer to a four-year college or university to complete a four-year degree. Students who know they intend to transfer typically complete the 60-credit Associate in Arts degree, which is guaranteed to satisfy the first two years of any four-year major.
